Egyptian startup Sinai.ai raises $1.45M to develop AI-powered interactive book platform
Egyptian startup Sinai.ai has closed a $1.45 million pre-seed funding round to develop an AI-powered platform that transforms traditional books into interactive, personalized reading experiences. The round was led by KAUST Innovation Ventures and DisrupTech Ventures, with additional participation from Maza Ventures, YOUXEL Ventures, and a group of angel investors.
Founded in 2021 by Ahmed Kamel, Mohamed Elshenawy, Abdullah Moatasem, Hana Malhas, and Mohamed Elshamy, Sinai.ai is positioning itself to modernize the global book market through its proprietary aiBook™ format. The company's platform reimagines how books are created and consumed by transforming traditional content into dynamic, multimodal experiences tailored to individual readers. Rather than static text, the platform uses artificial intelligence to adapt content delivery based on reader preferences and engagement patterns.
