Foodics Black links the dining room, kitchen, and payment in one system
Foodics has unveiled Foodics Black, a restaurant-management platform aimed at full-service venues, where a meal involves reservations, table assignments, ordered courses, kitchen timing, and payment rather than a simple counter sale. It brings those steps, along with inventory management, into one system and pairs it with newly designed point-of-sale hardware and mobile waiter devices, allowing staff to take orders and payments at the table without moving between separate tools. Foodics says the setup is intended to make service more consistent and reduce errors from disconnected systems; for Saudi operators, it also supports ZATCA’s e-invoicing requirements. The launch shows Foodics moving beyond a general restaurant point-of-sale product toward software tailored to the more complex choreography of sit-down dining.
