Humane, the Saudi artificial intelligence company backed by the Public Investment Fund, has announced a partnership with Accenture aimed at speeding up AI adoption across the kingdom, as Saudi Arabia pushes more companies and public institutions from experimentation into full-scale use. The collaboration is intended to help organizations move beyond pilot projects and deploy advanced AI applications in day-to-day operations, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
The companies said the agreement will focus on supporting businesses and institutions as they adopt AI at scale, a shift that could affect sectors ranging from government services to industry and finance. The announcement comes as Saudi Arabia continues to invest heavily in digital infrastructure and AI capabilities, part of a broader national strategy to diversify the economy and build a technology sector with global reach.
The partnership also reflects a wider change in the market. In a separate interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, Dell said AI in Saudi Arabia is entering a “production phase,” meaning companies are increasingly seeking practical systems that can be deployed securely and cost-effectively rather than tested only in limited trials. That view suggests growing demand for the kind of implementation and operational support that Accenture typically provides through consulting, integration and transformation services.
The new deal comes alongside Humane’s expanding ambitions in infrastructure. According to Asharq Al-Awsat, the company has also selected Goldman Sachs to help arrange a $5.3 billion financing package for data centers, underscoring how central computing power and storage capacity have become to Saudi Arabia’s AI plans. Data centers are essential for running advanced AI systems, and large-scale investment in them is widely seen as necessary if the kingdom is to host and process more AI workloads locally.
Taken together, the announcements point to a coordinated push to build both the physical and operational foundations for AI in Saudi Arabia. The partnership with Accenture is designed to help organizations use the technology more effectively, while the financing effort would support the infrastructure needed to handle growing demand. For Saudi Arabia, the stakes are economic as well as technological: success could help speed digital transformation, improve productivity and strengthen the country’s position as a regional AI hub.
