Lumilens Raises Over $700 Million in Series C at $5.51 Billion Valuation

Optical networking startup Lumilens said it raised more than $700 million in a Series C round, valuing the company at $5.51 billion as demand grows for faster connectivity in AI data centers. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Bain Capital Ventures, Meritech, Seligman Ventures, and Spark Capital, lifting Lumilens’s total funding to more than $900 million. The company said it is already shipping products under a multi-billion-dollar agreement with an unnamed hyperscaler, a sign of how big cloud providers are spending to support AI infrastructure.
