Nvidia teams up with Wall Street firms on financing plans for AI infrastructure
Thursday, August 13, 2026
Nvidia has teamed up with six major Wall Street firms — Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR — to launch financing platforms aimed at mobilizing more than $500 billion for AI infrastructure, including data centers and the hardware that powers them. The effort is designed to make it easier for AI developers, enterprises, governments and cloud providers to finance costly “compute” equipment and related buildouts, which Nvidia and its partners increasingly view as a long-term asset class. Nvidia said the arrangements are preliminary memorandums of understanding, and it did not disclose individual commitments or a timetable, but the plan could significantly expand access to capital for the AI industry.
