A unit of Saudi-based Red Sea International Company won a SAR353 million ($94 million) mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) subcontract for a project within the mega Diriyah City development, with work scheduled to be completed over 15 months. The subsidiary, The Fundamental Installation for Electric Work, secured the contract from Salini Saudi Arabia to provide engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning services for the giga project, which is valued at $63.2 billion. This award follows a recent similar win by the same subsidiary for the King Salman International Airport project and marks the start of financial impact for Red Sea International in the second quarter of 2026. The contract underscores the growing role of Saudi contractors in delivering critical infrastructure for the Kingdom's ambitious urban transformation initiatives.
