Saudi Arabia Opens Prequalification for Dammam King Fahd Suburb Boulevard PPP Project

Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Privatization and the Eastern Province Municipality have moved forward with the King Fahd Suburb Boulevard project in Dammam by opening the prequalification stage for private-sector participation. The mixed-use development is planned as a long-term public-private partnership and is expected to be delivered in phases, with retail, leisure, office, parks and pedestrian spaces forming part of the scheme. The project matters because it is one of the country’s latest efforts to attract private investment into urban development and expand quality-of-life infrastructure in the Eastern Province.
