Saudi Arabia Restarts Land Imports of Lebanese Goods via Syria Border Crossing

Saudi Arabia has begun the third phase of resuming land exports of Lebanese products, with its ambassador to Lebanon inaugurating the process and the shipments routed through the Masnaa border crossing between Lebanon and Syria. The move follows a decision by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to reopen the market to Lebanese goods, and Lebanese officials at the ceremony described it as important support for the country’s struggling economy. The launch also included new border-crossing equipment and an inspection of plans for a future land border center, underscoring efforts to improve trade logistics and border control.
