Saudi Aramco signs $3.7 billion deals with French firms on drilling, AI technologies

Saudi Aramco and Aramco Digital signed agreements and memorandums of understanding with French companies worth more than $3.7 billion, announced during a French-Saudi investment roundtable in Paris attended by Aramco CEO Amin Nasser. The deals include procurement for drilling equipment and oil country tubular goods, along with a cooperation framework for industrial artificial intelligence and digital twin technologies through Aramco Digital. Aramco said the partnerships are meant to strengthen its supply chain, improve operational efficiency and continuity, and support technology transfer and capability building. The company did not disclose the French counterparties or how the total value is divided among the agreements.
