Saudi PIF shifts 2026-2030 plan to six domestic ecosystems for Vision 2030 diversification
Monday, August 17, 2026
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund has shifted its 2026-2030 strategy away from rapid megaproject launches toward building value through six integrated domestic economic ecosystems. The plan centers on tourism, travel and entertainment; urban development and livability; advanced manufacturing and innovation; industrials and logistics; clean energy, water and renewables infrastructure; and NEOM as a standalone ecosystem. The move is meant to strengthen coordination across PIF-backed companies, deepen partnerships with local and foreign investors, and support Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goal of diversifying the economy beyond oil.
