TikTok is reportedly considering cutting approximately 300 jobs at its European headquarters in Dublin as part of an operational restructuring focused on its Trust and Safety division and AI data services. This move, which follows a similar round of layoffs the previous year that also eliminated nearly 300 roles, aims to consolidate quality assurance activities into other regional hubs while creating hundreds of new specialist positions in Dublin. Although the company has stated that some affected employees will be offered redeployment opportunities and that the reorganization will introduce new roles, the overall result is expected to reduce its Irish headcount, which currently exceeds 2,000 employees. The restructuring reflects the platform's broader industry shift toward integrating advanced technological innovations for content moderation and platform safety.
