AMD, Cisco and Humain Launch 1-GW AI Infrastructure Venture in Saudi Arabia
AMD, Cisco, and Saudi-backed AI firm Humain have formed a joint venture to build up to 1 gigawatt of artificial intelligence infrastructure in Saudi Arabia by 2030, starting with an initial 100-megawatt deployment scheduled for 2026. The partnership, announced at the U.S.–Saudi Investment Forum in November 2025, will serve as a strategic pillar for Saudi Arabia's ambition to become a global leader in AI solutions for regional and international customers [1][3]. Humain has already secured its first major client, generative video startup Luma AI, which will utilize the entire capacity of the initial 100-megawatt facility powered entirely by renewable energy [2]. As exclusive technology partners, AMD will supply its Instinct MI450 Series GPUs while Cisco will provide critical networking infrastructure to enable the joint venture's modern, efficient data centers .
