Autobia raises $12 million for Saudi auto-parts marketplace
Autobia, a Saudi business-to-business marketplace for auto parts, has raised $12 million in a Series A led by Artal Capital, with Aljazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures also participating. The platform connects parts retailers with wholesalers, giving them a simpler way to find products, compare live prices and place orders. Autobia says it will use the funding to expand across Saudi Arabia, strengthen delivery operations and improve tools for pricing, inventory and flexible payment for stock purchases. That last piece matters because parts sellers often pay for inventory long before they sell it; Autobia is trying to become not just a digital catalogue, but a service that helps merchants manage the whole buying cycle.
