Ghanem adds $1.5 million to its pre-seed round
Saudi property-tech startup Ghanem has raised a further $1.5 million, taking its pre-seed round to $8.6 million after an earlier $7.1 million tranche. The company lets people and institutions buy smaller ownership stakes in income-producing Saudi properties rather than needing to purchase an entire building. Its model is beginning to move beyond a pitch: Ghanem says it has issued digital ownership deeds to 580 investors in its first property offering and connected its platform to the national Real Estate Registry. The new backing—from property companies, strategic angel investors, and Waad VC—gives Ghanem more room to build a regulated, digital route into an asset class that has traditionally required substantial capital and paperwork.
