GO Telecom awards 185.9 million riyal AI data-center infrastructure deal
Saudi telecom provider GO Telecom has awarded Full Technology Triangle a 185.9 million riyal contract, excluding VAT, to equip a cloud data center designed for AI and other demanding computing tasks. The supplier, a Dell Technologies partner, will provide and install Dell computing systems that use Nvidia graphics processors—the chips commonly used to train and run AI models—along with servers, software licenses, and the other systems needed to operate the facility. The 12-month project is an investment in computing infrastructure, not an announcement that the center is already live or that GO has sold AI capacity to customers. GO says the build-out is intended to help its business division offer advanced cloud and AI services to government and private-sector clients; its financial effect will be set out later once contract-signing requirements are complete.
