Qiddiya, France Explore $7 Billion Entertainment Hub Near Paris

Qiddiya Investment Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the French government to explore building a large entertainment destination near Paris, in a project reported to be worth about $7 billion. The plan, discussed during Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to France, centers on a mixed-use site in the Paris region that could include up to three theme parks, hotels, and other leisure attractions. French officials say the development could create roughly 22,000 jobs, and it would be one of the biggest tourism investments in France in decades. The agreement is still exploratory, with both sides set to study the project’s scale, business model, and legal framework before any final decision.
