Saudi Arabia's PIF Discloses $26.3 Billion SpaceX Stake
Sunday, August 16, 2026
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund disclosed that it held about 154.1 million shares of SpaceX, valued at roughly $26.3 billion at the end of June. The filing makes the Saudi sovereign wealth fund one of SpaceX’s largest known investors and highlights growing Gulf interest in Elon Musk’s company, which has drawn major backing from the region as SpaceX’s value has surged. The disclosure also follows reports earlier this year that the fund had been in talks about a possible larger SpaceX investment, underscoring the strategic importance of the company to global investors.
