Saudi Arabia’s PIF Says Annualized Shareholder Return Fell to 5.8% in 2025 Report
Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund said its annualized total shareholder return was 5.8% in its 2025 annual report, down from 7.2% a year earlier. The fund said the lower return reflected weaker valuations in some assets amid broader market conditions, even as higher dividends from portfolio companies and gains from financial investments helped support performance. The report matters because PIF is a central engine of Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification drive and one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds.
