stc and Red Sea Global have showcased an intelligent operations system designed to make sprawling resort destinations easier to run—and less static for guests. The system creates a live 3D digital twin, or virtual model, of three Red Sea locations, including Shura Island and Turtle Bay, combining data such as weather, environmental conditions, and guest movement in one view. That could help operations teams spot changes and test responses before acting, while the guest-facing side can tailor activity suggestions as conditions change. The project is being presented at LEAP 2026, rather than as a completed consumer rollout, but it marks a shift in the partners’ work from building connectivity to using live data as part of how a destination is managed. For a remote and environmentally sensitive tourism development, that could mean smoother logistics and more responsive visitor experiences.
