Ajman says it has completed the UAE’s first government transaction to renew a commercial license using an agentic AI system, marking a shift toward a more proactive, low-friction digital public service. The service notifies businesses before a license expires and guides them through renewal through the AjmanOne app with minimal manual input. If a valid commercial lease also needs renewal, the system coordinates that step with Ajman’s municipality and planning department before finishing the license renewal. Officials say the rollout is part of Ajman Vision 2030 and is meant to improve government efficiency and the business environment.
