Samsung launches RX unit to accelerate humanoid robot development

Samsung has created a dedicated robotics unit, the Robotics eXperience, or RX, office, to speed up development and commercialization as the company pushes into physical AI and humanoid robots. The new unit reports directly to CEO Roh Tae-moon and consolidates work that had been spread across hardware, AI, software, design, and product planning teams. Samsung is positioning robotics as a future growth business, with the move aimed at linking its core strengths in semiconductors, batteries, displays, and other components into a single strategy.
