Anthropic is training engineers to get AI out of the pilot phase
Anthropic is putting $100 million behind Claude Frontier Academy, a program designed to train 10,000 engineers over three years to turn AI experiments into working business systems. Rather than teaching people simply to use Claude, the company is training employees nominated by its customers and consulting partners to choose a worthwhile use case, connect AI to internal data and software, clear security review, and lead a real project. The first course combines a short simulated deployment with a 12-week residency at the participant’s employer, after which Anthropic awards a credential. The bet is that enterprise AI’s bottleneck is no longer access to capable models, but the scarce people who can fit them safely into how a company actually operates.
