Center3 partners with Saudi Electricity’s project arm on data-center power planning

Center3, the data-center arm of stc Group, has signed a framework partnership with Saudi Electricity Project Development Company to prepare the power infrastructure for future large data centers in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. The work is still at the planning stage: the companies will assess whether sites can secure enough electricity, advise on substation design, and address regulatory requirements before projects move ahead. That matters because data centers—especially those used for cloud services and AI—need large, dependable power supplies, and a building can be delayed if the grid connection is treated as an afterthought.
