FDA approves Revolution Medicines’ daraxonrasib for previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Revolution Medicines’ daraxonrasib for previously treated metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, giving patients with one of the deadliest cancers a new targeted treatment option. The drug is described as the first to attack a key molecular driver of the disease, and late-stage trial data showed it nearly doubled survival compared with standard chemotherapy. The approval matters because pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed late and has had very few effective therapies, making any meaningful improvement in survival especially significant.
