Manus raises more than $500 million after splitting from Meta

Manus, the AI startup behind software agents designed to carry out multistep tasks rather than simply answer prompts, has raised more than $500 million in its first funding round since splitting from Meta. Boyu Capital and IDG Capital led the investment, while existing backers Tencent, HSG, and ZhenFund also participated. The financing gives Manus fresh resources to operate independently after the split. Manus did not disclose a new valuation or say how it will use the funds, but the round shows it can still draw major backing as it rebuilds on its own.
