Meta launches Muse Wonder models for AI agents

Meta has introduced Muse Wonder and the more capable Muse Wonder Full, its first models explicitly positioned against the leading systems from OpenAI and Anthropic. The models are designed for AI agents: software that can pursue a multistep task rather than simply answer a prompt, with particular emphasis on remembering useful context and handling coding work. Meta says Wonder will soon run parts of its Muse personal assistant and is available through its developer interface and coding service; Wonder Full is initially limited to paying Muse Code subscribers. The launch is a commercial test as much as a technical one: Meta is trying to turn its expensive AI push into subscription products that people and businesses will pay to use.
