OPEC+ pauses its oil-output increases for October

Seven major OPEC+ producers will keep their October oil-production targets at September’s levels. The decision pauses, rather than reverses, the group’s recent change of course: it had raised targets for six straight months to restore part of the output members voluntarily withheld in 2023.
