Oro raises $3 million to make DeFi less manual

Monday, August 31, 2026

Dubai-based Oro has raised $3 million in a strategic funding round, taking its total funding to $4 million. Its product targets a basic friction in decentralized finance: completing one financial plan can require navigating several separate services and transactions. Oro lets users write the outcome they want in plain language, then turns that request into a sequence of actions; the company says users still approve and sign each transaction, rather than handing over control of their assets. The new money, co-led by MH Ventures and Mapleblock Capital, will fund its AI development, hiring, compliance work and business integrations—an effort to make its transaction-execution tool useful not only to individual users but also to other financial platforms.
