Saudi-Egypt trade passed $82 billion over five years

Saudi reports used Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Egypt to underline the commercial base beneath the two countries’ relationship: two-way trade totaled about $82.2 billion from 2021 through 2025. That figure measures goods moving in both directions, not a new investment commitment or a deal announced during the visit. Trade reached roughly $18.1 billion in 2025 alone, up 11% from the previous year. The numbers matter because they show that any push for deeper Saudi-Egypt business ties starts with a large, established trading relationship that has continued to grow.
