Aramco details the gas buildout behind its 2030 target

Aramco has outlined the buildout behind its plan to lift sales-gas capacity about 80% by 2030 from 2021 levels: six to seven gas and gas-liquids facilities are expected to enter service across 2025–27. The end goal is roughly 6 million barrels of oil equivalent a day of gas and associated liquids—not 6 million barrels of crude, but a standard way of measuring gas and liquids on one energy scale. The program is anchored by Jafurah, where production began in late 2025, and by processing plants that turn raw output into fuel and industrial feedstock. Aramco expects the expansion to meet rising domestic demand and add $12 billion to $15 billion in annual operating cash flow in 2030, depending on gas demand and liquids prices.
