Aramex wants AI to spot shipping disruptions before they spread
Aramex is looking to use AI for more than finding an efficient delivery route. The company already uses smart planning tools to support thousands of real-time delivery decisions; its next goal is to use data on demand, available capacity, weather, congestion, and transit conditions to flag trouble early. That could give operations teams time to compare practical alternatives, such as rerouting cargo or shifting it between road, air, and sea, before delays cascade through the network. The distinction matters: shippers increasingly value a logistics provider’s ability to keep goods moving when a route comes under pressure, not simply its ability to offer the cheapest standard route.
