Blackwall raises $100 million to help websites manage bots and AI agents
Blackwall, an Estonian web-security company, has raised $100 million in a Series C round that values it at $2.2 billion, roughly four times its 2025 valuation. It sells through web-hosting and cloud providers, placing filtering tools at the front door of websites to sort real visitors and permitted automated services from scrapers, abusive bots, and attacks. The company says the funding will expand those protections, including tools for the growing traffic generated by AI agents. The bet behind the valuation is that websites now need more than a way to block attackers: they need to decide which automated visitors should be allowed in.
