Ceer reveals Exobot, its first electric sedan and SUV

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman unveiled Exobot, Ceer’s first electric vehicles—a sedan and SUV—and the PIF-backed company says sales will begin in Saudi Arabia in early 2027. Ceer was founded in 2022 as a joint venture between the sovereign fund and Foxconn, with the aim not merely of importing EVs but of establishing a domestic carmaker and supplier base. The models are due to be built at its King Abdullah Economic City complex, part of a project targeting capacity of up to 240,000 vehicles a year when fully completed. The harder measure of success will be how much industry grows around it: Ceer aims to source 45% of its vehicle materials and components from Saudi companies by 2034.
