Crusoe reportedly signs $13 billion cloud deal with Jane Street

Friday, September 4, 2026

Crusoe, which builds and rents out computing capacity for AI, has signed a five-year cloud contract with trading firm Jane Street Group worth about $13 billion, according to people familiar with the agreement. The reported deal would give Jane Street large clusters of GPUs—the specialized chips behind AI training and use—along with the supporting equipment needed to develop and run models. Jane Street is known for using software, data and fast systems to trade financial markets, making it a notable customer for an AI cloud provider rather than a traditional technology giant. For Crusoe, a commitment of this size can do more than add revenue: it helps justify the enormous upfront investment needed to build new data-center capacity.
