HUMAIN and KORA team up on an AI-native Linux operating system

Tuesday, September 1, 2026

Saudi AI company HUMAIN has teamed with KORA Systems to co-develop HUMAIN OS, an enterprise Linux operating system that treats AI as a core part of the computer rather than another app. At LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, the companies showed an early version and said commercial availability is planned for 2027. The intended experience is goal-first: a user states what they want done, while the system uses authorized company context to select an AI model and decide whether work should run on the device, inside the company, or in the cloud. That is a more ambitious approach than adding chatbots to existing software, but its value will depend on whether it can safely connect to the business systems where work actually happens.
