Intel ships Panther Lake laptop chips using ASML High-NA EUV technology

Intel reported its strongest quarterly revenue growth in 15 years and said it is now shipping select Panther Lake laptop processors made with ASML’s High-NA EUV lithography on some 18A layers. The milestone matters because it makes Intel Foundry the first to ship a high-volume logic product using High-NA EUV, a next-generation manufacturing tool long seen as crucial for advancing chip miniaturization and performance. ASML said the affected layers are dual-qualified to run on either High-NA or conventional EUV tools, and that yields match the established platform, suggesting the technology is being introduced gradually rather than replacing existing production.
