Ma’aden names Khalid Al-Mudaifer vice chairman

Saudi Arabian Mining Co., known as Ma’aden, has named Khalid Al-Mudaifer vice chairman as its new three-year board term gets under way. He will serve alongside chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan; both are non-executive directors, meaning their roles center on board oversight rather than managing the company’s daily operations. Ma’aden also reconstituted its board committees, covering executive matters, audit, nominations and pay, and risk, safety and sustainability. The move is therefore a governance reset for the new board cycle, rather than an announced change in operating management, with the term ending Oct. 24, 2029.
