Manar Al Omran unveils SR1.2 billion Saudi manufacturing hub

Monday, September 14, 2026

Manar Al Omran has unveiled its SR1.2 billion MAO Industrial Complex in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province: a roughly one-million-square-meter site planned around five factories, a head office, and housing for 7,000 employees. The company has traditionally supplied and rented scaffolding and formwork—the temporary structures that support workers and shape concrete as a building rises. Its aim is to make those systems and their components itself, shifting from primarily a rental and services business into a more integrated manufacturer. That could give it greater control over supply for Saudi construction, energy, and infrastructure projects, while supporting its stated ambition to sell Saudi-made equipment abroad.
