HUMAIN and Together AI turn Saudi power into AI cloud capacity
HUMAIN and Together AI announced a partnership that will provide 55 megawatts of AI computing capacity in Saudi Arabia and includes plans for a new 250-megawatt data center. The distinction matters: megawatts measure the electricity available to run the dense clusters of chips behind AI training and services, and power has become one of the industry’s main constraints. HUMAIN brings Saudi-based infrastructure, while Together AI brings a cloud platform and customers that use AI models for training and everyday responses. The companies said the partnership could generate more than $5 billion in gross annualized revenue in its first year—a forecast, not booked sales—but the deal shows how Saudi data centers are being positioned to sell computing power far beyond the Kingdom.
