Waymo halted a ride after a firearm alert, and police found a ghost gun

A Waymo robotaxi in San Francisco pulled over after the company said it became aware of a firearm-related breach of its rider rules and alerted emergency services. Police then stopped the vehicle and arrested two juvenile passengers; officers said they recovered a loaded AR-style ghost gun—an unmarked firearm that is harder to trace.
