HUMAIN and DataVolt begin NEOM AI data center buildout

HUMAIN and DataVolt have started building the first 100 MW of an AI-focused data center in Oxagon, NEOM’s industrial city on the Red Sea. The work is part of a planned 360 MW facility, a measure of the electricity capacity needed to run the dense chip clusters behind large AI models and cloud services. HUMAIN, the PIF-backed AI company, is pairing its AI capabilities with DataVolt’s role in financing, building, and operating the physical infrastructure. The companies expect the first 100 MW to be ready in 2028, with renewable-energy sources, advanced cooling, and high-performance computing systems planned for the site—moving the project from a proposal into construction.
