HUMAIN expands MIS data-center buildout to 250 MW

HUMAIN has expanded the AI data-center project it awarded to Saudi technology contractor Al Moammar Information Systems, or MIS, from 50 megawatts to 250 MW. A megawatt is a unit of power; here it describes the electrical capacity planned for dense racks of AI chips, so this is a commitment to the physical capacity behind AI services—not a claim about computing output available today. MIS will add 200 MW in stages, including the site, structural shell, and basic building systems that must be in place before servers can be installed. MIS says approved engineering, purchasing, and construction can begin while the parties complete final contract procedures. The deal shows that scaling AI depends as much on power, cooling, and construction as it does on software and chips.
