NHC Innovation plans $880 million data-center buildout in Khuzam

NHC Innovation has announced an $880 million plan to build data centers in Khuzam Digital Valley, a new Riyadh-area development designed around digital infrastructure as well as real estate. A data center is the physical home for the servers behind cloud services and AI applications; its scale is often measured in megawatts because computing and cooling require vast amounts of electricity. The company says the sites will be built in stages and able to reach 65 megawatts by 2033, making this a long-term capacity target rather than power available today. The move matters because it positions a planned urban district as a potential home for the computing infrastructure businesses increasingly need to run digital services locally.
